Thursday Morning
Good Morning OFF,
I've been quiet coz I haven't been feeling on top of my game.
A few days ago, Mom got a letter from a lawyer about the house she's lived in being vacant. It was left for her to live in after a man she dated died. After she moves out, or passes, it's to go back to his estate. Problem is, one of his sons contested the will, and made threats against Mom multiple times in the past 20 years. Mom doesn't want to give it back to him, just to spite him. I've tried to talk my sister into getting the power of attorney, and emptying, and turning the keys over to the Executrix. Colleen warned Eileen about leaving it vacant. Mom's been paying taxes on it, plus utilities, even while vacant. It's a disaster area, because Mom has refused to repair anything in it. The plumbing needs work, the cement steps out front need repair, coz she lives in the mountains. Her store only has two burners that work. She's the most spiteful person on the planet. Eileen called the lawyer's office, and lied to them, saying Mom is only staying with her during the winter because of the heating bill. It's been going on for an entire year now. It's like my sister is leaving Mom hope that she can go back there to live by herself. Eileen can't tell her she can't.
It's still snowing, and poor Utley went out back and it was up to his belly. He's not a tiny dog, but he's not big either. Then, he wanted to go out front, and I had to untangle his lead because it gets wrapped around the shepherd's crook I use to hang my bird feeders. He must have gone outside three or four times this morning.
I didn't accomplish anything but laundry yesterday. Now, I have to put it all away. Plus, I have a few dishes to wash. I've been using paper plates to cut down on how much I have to do.
Connie, I'm glad the kids are getting a puppy. Also glad your pain is lessening.
Vickie, thanks for the info on Mary. I lost my address list from Christmas, and would appreciate if someone could send it to me. I am not sure if her address is 11 Humes, or 22 Humes. Let me know which one is the right one.
Can't remember everybody else's info.
Have shoveling to do.

Trish, if I read it right, Mary's old address is 11 Humes, but she's staying with her neighbor down the street at 22 Humes. At least that's what I got from her note.
I would send you the mailing list, but it's on my computer at home. But if you still need it I'll send it next week.

Good evening Trish....like I said I have noticed you have been quiet lately. I am sorry your sister is handling things the way she is. More then likely your mom will lose the house. That would be better in the long run. She should be in assisted living anyway. I don't think your sister is handling either of their mental illness like she should. You just need to let it roll off your back. It does no good to argue with your sister or your mother. Going there will only cause you to suffer more. It won't be easy, but please let it go for now. You need to take care of yourself this time!!! 
I am sorry you are still dealing with snow. Poor Utley...cold tummy!!
If you accomplished getting your laundry done yesterday that was all you needed to do. You are still healing!!!
I can't find where I put the address list. I will try to find it. If I do find it I will pass it on to you. 
As for me..... I didn't do much at all this morning. I went out and visited with a few of the ladies here. They had a coffee group and felt bad because I couldn't be there. It was from 2:00 to 5:00 the exact time my cleaning fairy and nurse were here. We aren't allowed to leave our apartment when someone from the agency is here. OH WELL!!!
I had a bus pick me up at 1:00 to take me to Target. I was suppose to be there 2 hours, They had a problem of some kind and couldn't get me until 4:00. I rode the electric cart going through the store. I enjoyed looking at all the new merchandise. I then went and sat at the Starbuck's in Target. I was having an iced coffee and people watching. I met a nice man while I was riding around. He was in a electric cart and we actually literally ran into each other a couple times. He was buying coffee and then saw me sitting there. He asked if he could join me. We had a nice visit. He was very interesting. We had a good time. He said he hopes we run into each other again soon. He was hinting at getting my phone number. I passed on that. Maybe if I see him again somewhere I might give it to him. I am leaving it to GOD. People say there aren't any men out there. I always get to chatting with someone. I am a people person and enjoy sharing stories with others. I am maybe just more outgoing then some. I met a really wonderful lady on the bus too.
That is it for my day....not planning anything else...I am already in my gown. Ready to relax and do some coloring while I watch a movie.

Hello sistas!
Missed it being morning by a few minutes. Geez, my hours go by fast here.
Carrie had her two week post-partum appointment this morning. Her incision is looking great! She's now cleared to drive, but really as long as I am here, it's not really necessary. Oh, but the doctor and staff made such a fuss over Caralee! Carrie was just beaming with pride and joy! She is such a tiny little thing. She just looks like a little doll baby.
So we came back to Carrie's house to feed the baby and let Mommy rest a minute. But we've decided we're going to try going antiquing this afternoon. It may or may not go well. Whatever. We're going to try it. It's such a pretty day and Carrie is feeling the need to expand her little universe!
Oh, my poor Benny. Chris texted me this morning that last night Budder killed one of Benny's guinea pigs! He is such a rough and rowdy little boy! Chris thinks Budder broke the pet's neck. Thankfully Benny didn't witness it. And Budder is too little to understand what happened. So Chris told Benny that his guinea pig went to stay with Papaw in heaven. Sigh.
So we're going to try our outing soon, and I need to feed my girl a bite of lunch before we go. Have to leave y'all with the picture I took of Caralee this morning. Oh, that baby is so sweet!!! Love her to pieces! And I love all of y'all!

Awe Vickie Caralee is so cute!!!
Inam back at my daughters. My scope went well. They found an ulcer. A small one. It's from where they took out the mesh and that area didn't heel.
I had kind of a rough night. With nausea and dry heaves.
Im better now.
I didn't keep Miss Vinnie sassy pants today. But I will tomorrow.
